Care about Youth Ministry?

I thought this article from The Pilot about the recent Symposium on Youth Ministry held in the Archdiocese of Boston summarizes the state of youth ministry very well.

    Thanks for this great reference to a wonderful gathering. On some upcoming episodes of This is the Day, CatholicTV has some great youth ministers as featured guests. First, Ansel Augustine of New Orleans. He is works with the Office for Black Catholics and as a Campus Minister at Xavier University. Recently he was involved with a revival at St Peter Claver Church in New Orleans.

    And on St. Patrick's Day we have one of my favorite Youth Ministers , Jim Flanagan. Jim has worked in every capacity of YM and we are thrilled to have him on This is the Day. Jim and his wife Paula recently started the ultimate youth group - they have a handsome baby boy Liam.
